Breathwork : Observe, Acknowledge, Resolve & Release

Why these four stages are crucial for lasting healing in a Breathwork Therapy session.
I have many clients come to me who have tried all sorts of Breathwork sessions - mostly group work in various forms and/or breathing practices they have found on the internet - but they have not found any significant healing with matters that appear to be the biggest block to them moving forward in life.
It is not that such other experiences are bad or wrong in themselves, however, what they have tried may not be the right process for what they need to find significant and lasting healing. Anything on the internet is really designed for everyday practices or 'general maintenance'.
What is important is understanding that to have a greater chance for lasting healing, there are 4 stages in the Breathwork session that need to be completed.
Due to the nature of these processes, when you create a need to identify anything that may need some healing/work, you need a qualified person sitting with you who can guide you through all these stages in the correct order, and safely get you the end of your session when you are ready to finish. That cannot be done properly in a group session or via the internet.
Breathwork Therapy is mainly used as a one-on-one process, enabling the qualified practitioner to focus entirely on you - the client.
Unlike a general Breathwork practice (which is still beneficial!) Breathwork Therapy guides you through all 4 of these stages to ensure any matter that requires re-viewing for healing can be addressed.
Observe : During the breathing session when a matter comes to consciousness organically (not directed) it indicates readiness for healing. It is not to be judged, nor directed to immediate release.
Acknowledge : This stage involves self-recognition of the matter, without judgement. This stage requires a deeper understanding of its origin, which may not be the current recollection. Once fully understood, or as best as possible, the acknowledgment of all involved is recognised. Some emotions may occur at this stage, including anger. Any anger can be managed in this stage, providing it is controlled, safe and specific to the matter at hand.
Resolve : This is the most crucial stage of the process and often the most overlooked. Resolution involves forming new thoughts, decisions, and/or actions moving forward, without judging the past.
Release : Release is not about 'screaming from the room tops'. Once the previous 3 stages are completed, is typically a calm letting go. There may be some emotion, but more likely relief from the letting go of the matter - free from what may have been negatively affecting your life up until now.
If your current breathwork practice repeatedly brings up the same matters, a stage of the healing process is missing or incomplete. No matter how much 'release' you attempt, it won't help unless all 4 stages are fully processed, and in order. Excessive 'releasing' of the same matter can even have the opposite effect - imbed the matter further instead of healing it.
An important note - it has taken your whole life to get to where you are now. Do not expect 1 single session to solve all your problems! In most cases, 1 big problem may be caused by many smaller ones. Let's work on them one at a time together. You do not need a lifetime of sessions to get you on track. Start with 5-10 and see where you are at then.
