Whilst I love working with all my clients, I recognise that men can feel there can be a 'stigma' with going to any formal of counselling or therapy, especially if it becomes 'on the record'.  

 

Many men feel uncomfortable about sharing their inner-most thoughts, feelings and personal life experiences. Even best mates or work colleagues may not be the easiest to discuss some issues with.  

 

Feelings of embarrassment, thoughts of being judged as weak, not in control, or not ‘manly’ enough, are just some of the thoughts and fears you may be feeling about going for any sort of therapy.
